Woodcreek’s curriculum is broad and distinctive. From their very first days in Kindergarten to the day they leave Sixth Form, pupils are encouraged to invest in the subjects they are good at and the ones they genuinely enjoy.
We follow the British Curriculum throughout, beginning with the Early Years Foundation Stage in Kindergarten, moving through Key Stages 1 to 3, into the Cambridge IGCSE at Key Stage 4, and on to A-Level and BTEC pathways in the Sixth Form. Students heading to universities abroad can also follow our International Foundation Year as a trusted bridge to study overseas.
The school strives to get pupils thinking about their futures and how they can have a positive impact as adults. Subject teachers, heads of department and the admissions team guide pupils and parents through IGCSE and A-Level choices. At Key Stage 4, students choose a minimum of seven subjects from a broad range, and at A-Level our subjects are arranged into four option blocks, so every student can shape a programme around their strengths and ambitions.

Beyond the syllabus
Teachers teach beyond the syllabuses, and academic learning is enriched by an extensive co-curricular offering, from clubs and sport to music, drama and field trips. Every pupil is known, challenged and supported to discover where their talents lie.
