At Woodcreek, boarding sits at the heart of school life, bringing together students from across Kenya and around the world into one caring community.
Living away from home helps students develop independence, responsibility and self-discipline, learning to manage their time and make good decisions for themselves, with experienced residential mentors always at hand in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our boarding houses intentionally bring together students from many backgrounds, building leadership, teamwork and cross-cultural understanding, so that for boarders the house becomes a true home and a place of lasting friendship.
Pastoral care
Underpinning boarding life is genuine pastoral care centred on each child. House parents, resident mentors, counsellors and our health and wellness team work together so that every boarder feels safe, supported and known, and is guided to flourish far from home.
